Foreign exchange students at Medina High School will be expected to follow the guidelines outlined in the student handbook for all Medina High School students. This includes the attendance policy and the conduct code. In addition, all foreign exchange students will take an appropriate language arts course. The remainder of the schedule will be determined by the student, the counselor, and the host parent(s). Foreign exchange students will be placed in the Junior class but will take classes on all grade levels and be extended Senior privileges (follow Senior calendar). By administrative policy, Medina High School limits foreign exchange students to three each year, when space is available.Â
