Fees
Students are assessed a fee of $15 which includes: agenda books, Career and College Readiness testing and misc. Supplies.
Whenever a fee or workbook is needed for a class the estimated cost is listed in the course description. Class fees for various materials and workbooks will be invoiced to students and parents in the fall of each school year. Teachers will distribute consumable materials to students in class.
In music, certain fees, separate from the fees listed in this guide, are paid to the parent group. In several courses, materials for projects are purchased by students on their own at different times throughout the course. These fees are not invoiced through the school.
Please check each course description in order to calculate the total fees you may be charged. Fees for individual courses are subject to change. Due to manufacturing cost and changes in a course needs, fees could increase or decrease by the time the actual course is taken.
AP Fee Reduction Policy
Any student enrolled in an AP course is required to take the AP exam in May for which college credit can be granted with a passing score of 3-5. The fee for the examination is approximately $98 and is in addition to the regular course fee.
The College Board provides a fee reduction per exam for students with acute financial need, such as students on the Free/Reduced lunch program. It is important that students fill out the appropriate forms at the beginning of the school year to release Free/Reduced lunch status to the appropriate officials. A copy of the official letter documenting your free or reduced lunch status will need to be included with paying participation fees.
