Welcome to Math 6 and Math 6 PLUS. My name is Mrs. Scalia. I am a huge fan of everything Cleveland. I cheer on the Browns, Cavs and Guardians. I am married and have 2 daughters. I love to walk in the park in my spare time and my favorite vacation is relaxing at the beach.

Welcome! I’m Mrs. Shriver, and I’m excited to be teaching math at Root Middle School! This is my 31st year in education. Most of my career was spent in 5th grade at Canavan and Waite Elementary, and now I love helping middle schoolers grow as learners and problem-solvers.
I live in Wadsworth and am proud to be the mom of two amazing kids—a son and a daughter. Outside of school, you’ll usually find me soaking up nature, but I’m happiest with my toes in the sand at the ocean. I’m also a big coffee enthusiast, football fan, and flair pen collector.
In our classroom, you can expect plenty of positivity, curiosity, and problem solving.
