We will be using Canvas to manage all homework assignments; assignments will be posted and uploaded there.
Evaluation
40% Homework (written and verbal critiques of weekly readings)
20% Class attendance and participation
40% Final project (no exam)
Assignments
This class has a significant project component. See Projects to learn more. Students will be prompted to work on their projects throughout with Professor Picard and Rob Lewis (TA) supporting students both in class and in weekly office hours.
In addition, there will be weekly homeworks. For examples of what to expect, you can check a previous version of the course that put assignments on a public website here: https://sites.google.com/media.mit.edu/mas-s60-spring2019/assignments
Weekly assignments will (generally) be due 24 hours before class each week (Tuesdays at 10am). If you have a medical or family emergency that threatens timely completion of your work, let the instructors know as soon as possible and they will waive the late penalty. (See policies).
