Welcome to 2nd Grade! My name is Mrs. Vanden Plas, and I am one of the 2nd Grade teachers at MAES.  This is my 4th year teaching.  I actually started my first year teaching here in Medford, then moved to Green Bay to be closer to my husband, and now I am back in Medford. I graduated from St. Norbert College with my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in May 2020.  Teaching is a passion of mine, and I strive to create strong relationships with all of my students.

I love dogs!! I have a mini goldendoodle named Bailee.

I LOVE ice cream.  It is my favorite food. 

I love to read books. 

I enjoy taking my dogs for walks. 

I just got married to Mr. Vanden Plas on July 15, 2023.
