About Me:

My name is Samuel Porten, but you can call me, "Mr.Sam" I am excited to be one of your teachers this year! We are going to do so many fun things, and of course we will be learning a lot. I hope you had an awesome summer, and I can’t wait to meet you, and hear all about it.

Just a little bit about me. I grew up right here in Medford, and proud to say I was a member of the graduation class of 2007. I come from a big family. I have 4 younger brothers. Yes, my parents had all boys. Our house growing up was very exciting and fun. I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. This past school year I taught 1st grade in River Falls. I am excited to be back in the area and to be a member of the Medford School District.

Hobbies: Playing sports, fishing, going to the movies, music, theatre, and spending time up north at our family cabin.

At home we have three dogs and a goat! I also love the Wisconsin sports teams!
