I was born and raised in Medford, Wisconsin. I attended the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and received a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Psychology. While at UW-L, I studied abroad in Seville, Spain and Xalapa, Mexico. That's when my love for traveling blossomed!
After graduating college, I moved to Xalapa, Mexico and taught English for 7 years. That is where I met my husband, Luis. Our first daughter Amaya was born in Mexico.
in 2017, my family moved back to Medford and I got my teaching certification to teach ESL and Spanish. I taught Spanish to Kindergarteners and 1st Graders for three years. Our second daughter, Alyvia, was also born during this time.
This is my first year teaching ELL in Medford and I am very excited! My family loves to travel, play with our pups, and eat new foods! I look forward to working with my ELL students this year!
