My name is Bob Komanec and I am currently a 5th grade teacher at MAMS.

I was born in Stanley, WI and raised in Gilman, WI. After graduating from Gilman High School, I attended UW-Stout where I received a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. In March of 2020 I completed my Masters of Education in Learning and Technology. This is my tenth year teaching in the Medford School District. Previously, I have taught kindergarten in the Marshall School District for one year. I married my wife Katrina in August of 2011 and we have four children: Brantley, Landree, Finley, and Tilly. 

During the school year I stay plenty busy with teaching, as well as coaching boy's JV1 basketball. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, playing sports, hunting, and fishing.
