Keyboarding

Student will practice keyboarding for the first 10 - 15 minutes of class every day. On Tuesday's we will take a typing test. We will use the following scale to assess their keyboarding ability. Typing Scale

Spreadsheets

By the end of this class student in this class can

• input formulas and functions in spreadsheets.
• Use spreadsheets to solve problems
• Print spreadsheets
• Save problems

Computer History

By the end of this class student in this class can

• show they have a basic understanding of computer history and terminology
• They will show this understanding using a multimedia presentation.

Programming

• By the end of this class students will be able to use the Alice 2.2 program to develop games and tell stories using the Alice program.
