In order to access a Google Classroom, students must first join the classroom.
To do this, please follow these steps:
Sign in to your Medford Public School Gmail account (which always includes "@medford.k12.ma.us").
Go to Google Classroom.
Select plus symbol (+) in upper right corner.
Select "Join a Class"
Input the code as provided to you by your teacher.
Select "Join" and this will allow you to enter the Google classroom associated with that code. Please remember that you must be signed in to the student's Medford Public School Gmail account (which always includes "@medford.k12.ma.us").
How to Access A Specific Classroom
Sign in to your Medford Public School Gmail account (which always includes "@medford.k12.ma.us").
Go to Google Classroom.
You will see all of the classrooms which you have already joined. (If a classroom does not appear here, then you will need to join the classroom using the "How to Join" steps above.)
Click on the specific classroom you would like to enter.
As a parent/guardian, you can choose to receive classroom summaries. The summary emails will include information about assignments and upcoming work, class activity, and missing work.
To receive "Guardian Email Summaries":
Teachers can send an email invitation to parents/guardians so that they may receive summaries of class work and class activities.
When you receive the email invitation, open the email and click on accept.
You should begin to receive regular email summaries for that class.
You do not need to have or use a gmail address to receive these summaries.
