Teaching the Keys to Life Long Learning

  • Kindergarten visits the library weekly for story time and library/computer skills classes. Grades 1-5 are scheduled for library and computer class on alternating weeks.
  • Library week the students will acquire information fluency skills through a variety of activities including listening and sharing, mini-projects and hands-on learning. Book exchange will be at the end of each library class.
  • During computer week, the students are in our large computer lab. They work on increasing their computer skills through a variety of engaging hands-on lessons including: Typing Agent, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Slides, Coding, and digital art. Students are also taught the importance of staying safe online and digital literacy.
