Radio Contact
All yachts are required to monitor VHF channel 72 from 7:00 pm until finishing the race.
Radio contact may be required to notify yachts of a shortened course, or of the expiration of a time limit.
Time Limit
Any yacht not finished Sunrise shall be scored DNF. (6:39 am)
If the race is shortened by finishing at a mark of the course, all time limits mentioned above still apply.
Shortened Course
The race may be shortened at any mark of the course. Therefore, it is important for all yachts to monitor VHF channel 72, as it may be necessary to sail in close proximity to each mark.
See note on time limits. This is not expected to apply! The fleet normally returns between midnight and 2 am.
Postponement of Starts
It is our intent to have this race underway before dusk, regardless of light wind conditions.
Course length will be determined by current conditions. We don’t want to be out ALL night!
APPROXIMATE MARKER LOCATIONS
Coordinates provided are approximate only, and any errors in these coordinates shall not be grounds for protest or redress. Skippers are responsible to ensure that these coordinates are correct, and for the navigation of their yachts.

Turkey Point marker shall be taken to port

Nanticoke Shoal marker shall be taken to port
Skippers are reminded that a series of sandbars and shoals exist along the shoreline. Skippers will be required to refer to current charts and navigate to ensure safe passage.
Finish
The race finish shall be at aid to navigation ED2 (PDYC race marker D)
A yacht will finish when any part of her hull comes within one of her boat lengths of ED2
Race committee will NOT be on station.
