Language Arts

Our current unit of study is narrative writing. We will be starting the personal narrative unit next week. In reading we are reviewing characteristics of fiction genres and story elements such as characters, setting, conflict and theme in a class read aloud (Freak the Mighty) and through each student's independent reading. Students will be analyzing and reflecting on their books through many lenses this year.
