ARRL Director of Product Development Bob Inderbitzen, NQ1R

Bob Inderbitzen, NQ1R was named the ARRL's first Director of Product Development in February of 2019. He is responsible for creating new ideas for products and services, creating pilot programs to quickly test those ideas, and then — if the pilot programs are successful — transitioning them to operations. He served as the convention manager for the national ARRL Centennial Convention held in Hartford, Connecticut in 2014. In 2015, he was appointed to the ARRL Strategic Planning Working Group by President Kay Craigie, N3KN. Bob enjoys speaking with members and volunteers about ARRL membership recruitment, benefits and services. He obtained his first ham radio license as a 6th-grader in 1981; enjoys casual HF operating, portable operating and contesting. He is an ARRL Life Member and contributor to the ARRL Second Century Campaign. Bob lives in Rocky Hill, Connecticut.
