Why Seerah?
The Seerah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen faith, build love for the Messenger ﷺ, and learn how to live Islam with wisdom, character, patience, and purpose. Studying the Seerah helps us connect our hearts to the life, mission, and legacy of the Prophet ﷺ in a way that is deeply relevant to our lives today.
Why a Competition?
A competition creates excitement, motivation, and a shared sense of purpose. It encourages participants to learn, reflect, review, and grow in a meaningful and memorable way. It also brings families, students, and community members together around something beneficial, uplifting, and rooted in love for the Prophet ﷺ.
A Community Tradition for 15 Years
By the mercy of Allah ﷻ, this Seerah Competition has been serving the community and beyond for the past 15 years. What began as a meaningful effort to bring people closer to the Seerah has, Alhamdulillah, continued to grow into a beautiful tradition that reaches participants from our local community as well as many others beyond it.
With Gratitude
We are deeply grateful to Muslim Comminuty of Western Suburbs (MCWS) for hosting this competition and for their continued support. We are also thankful to Crescent Academy International for sharing their space and facilities with us. Their generosity, partnership, and support help make this event possible and provide a welcoming environment for participants, families, and community members to come together for a beautiful cause.
A Team Effort by the Mercy of Allah
This competition comes together only by the mercy of Allah ﷻ and through the sincere efforts of an amazing team working behind the scenes. This includes, but is not limited to, our coaches and co-coaches, content committee, competition-day organizers, prizes committee, food committee, setup and decor committee, proctors, graders, and many more. Each person plays a valuable role in making this effort successful, beneficial, and memorable for the community.
Jazaakum Allahu Khayran to everyone who contributes, supports, organizes, teaches, serves, and makes du‘a for this effort.
