Pride Month Grams
Pride Month Grams
During the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years, the GSA sold rainbow airhead candies during pride month in order to donate the proceeds to local LGBTQ+ charities.
Chocolate Roses
Chocolate Roses
Every Valentine's Day, the club sells chocolate roses with messages that the sender can choose. The roses are given to friends, significant others, and teachers. Proceeds support the club and are donated to charity.
Fashion Show
Fashion Show
During the 2018-2019 school year, the GSA hosted a fashion show during the school day, with several club members modeling and designing outfits. The clothes were donated by other students, and after the fashion show, were donated to a queer youth shelter.
Awareness Efforts
Awareness Efforts
During the 2020-2021 school year, the GSA worked on the Pronoun Education Project, a factsheet that gives information on pronoun usage, and a push for inclusive education, particularly in science and history courses.
