About Chemistry:

It is important to study chemistry because chemistry is fundamental to the understanding of other sciences. Chemistry overlaps with all other sciences- physics, biology, astronomy, geology, environmental science as well as other sciences. Through lecture, lab investigations, written and verbal activities and projects, you will be learning the following in chemistry: kinetic theory, atoms, Periodic Table, chemical reactions, thermodynamics, nuclear chemistry and sustainability in chemistry.

This curriculum is aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). We will be using google classroom frequently, so be sure you are in your google classroom class for all notes, updates, assignments, etc.
