Welcome to McSwain's new music program! The music program currently consists of the following opportunities for students:
Classroom Music for all children in Grades K - 6
Afterschool Instrumental Music for Grades 4 - 6
Instrumental Music Ensemble Elective for Grades 7 - 8

Arturo Garcia
A Central Valley native, Mr. Garcia is excited to work with McSwain to bring back the music program after 2 years. He is a recent graduate from the Conservatory of Music at the University of the Pacific, where he received a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. While at Pacific, studied and performed on flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, and bassoon, and was recently the winner of the Pacific University Symphonic Orchestra Concerto Competition.

The Music program is working on building itself up from the ground up. To do this more efficiently, we need the help of the community. If you would like to donate, volunteer, or find some other way to help, please contact our music teacher. We will accept donations of any kinds, including instruments!
