Forrest School’s Rocket Band of Blue (RBOB) in Chapel Hill is looking forward to an exciting 2025-26 marching season.

We have just completed our most highly decorated marching season! The RBOB is experiencing tremendous growth,

welcoming our 3rd year in a row with 20+ new marchers! Our support of Forrest Rocket teams and the Chapel Hill

community is what we are most proud of. The band’s motto is, “Where pride is the focus, and excellence is expected,”

and they strive to demonstrate this with every performance.

The Rocket Band of Blue is busy throughout the year, representing Forrest School and the Chapel Hill community in

competitions state-wide, in addition to supporting the Forrest Rockets Football Team throughout the season. Aside from

the competitions and parades, the RBOB also shares two concert performances with the public each year (one just

before Christmas and one in the Spring).

In preparing for the upcoming year, we are looking for individuals and local businesses who would be interested in

joining our RBOB Sponsorship Team. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and rely on support from folks just like you and

your organization to support our award-winning band program.

Your sponsorship helps pay for all the things that make this program possible such as band camp, field show props,

travel expenses, as well as maintenance for uniforms, instruments, and the trailers that travel with the RBOB to

transport needed equipment.

As part of your sponsorship, you will not only receive incredible exposure for your organization, you will also play a vital

role in the annual Forrest Rocket Tournament of Bands (FRTB). This is the marching band competition we host that

invites bands from across Tennessee to compete.
