MasteryConnect serves as our main platform used to collect formative data. This could be classroom exit tickets, classroom tests/quizzes, and/or CASE 21 Benchmark assessments. 

Our CASE 21 Benchmark assessments are taken three (3) times a year, typically at the end of a quarter to see how students are grasping the material being taught in the classroom. This differs from iReady while evaluates student's abilities and skills on what they already know. 

MasteryConnect creates pacing guides to match North Carolina Standards for benchmark/CASE 21 assessment. You can go HERE and click on North Carolina to view the pacing guides specific to your grade level(s). 

Pacing Guides are available for K-8 English and Math, 5th and 8th Science, and Yearlong Math 1.

Tested grade levels are 3 thru 8.
