About 

The Meriwether County School System Wraparound Services Community Access to Resources and Education (CARE) centers are a school and community-based partnership providing a one-stop-shop focusing on the whole child by providing equitable access to resources, services, and opportunities.

The CARE Centers help all students to be successful and healthy inside and outside the classroom. They facilitate partnerships between students, families, and community stakeholders to provide programs that address students' learning barriers and offer opportunities.

Key functions of the Wraparound CARE Centers include:



The Wraparound CARE Centers are located at Manchester High School and Greenville Middle/High School. The high school CARE Centers provide access to college and career counseling, mental health services, family support, and basic needs. Care Closets, which provide hygiene, school supplies, and counseling services, are located at Manchester Middle School, Unity Elementary School, and Mountain View Elementary School.

Our vision is to empower Meriwether County students with the ability to be successful through the dedication of school and community resources, services, and opportunities to address learning barriers, thus maximizing outcomes. 

Goal

The goal of the Wraparound CARE Centers is to provide effective school and community-based programs and services to enhance the student's ability to be successful inside and outside the classroom, thus graduating from high school and becoming positive community citizens.
