Assistive Tool Time!!
Welcome to Assistive Tool Time with Jennifer Williams!
Thanks so much for stopping by to learn more about all things assistive technology! We have great news!!! For the first time in our county's history, we are offering a universal tool to ALL students!! This year our school system is continuing in its participation in the Assistive Technology (AT) Partnership with Georgia Tech's Tools for Life, Georgia Department of Education, and TextHelp which gives our students with an IEP access to all the premium toolsets found in TextHelp's Read&Write, EquatIO, and WriQ. But there's more!! Licenses have also been purchased for this school year to ensure ALL our students in Meriwether County have full access to Read&Write and EquatIO!!! Welcome to history in the making!!

WriQ
WriQ is a writing achievement tool that assists teachers but what about does it do for students? Would it assist our students in knowing how many words they have written and what their writing speed is? What about the knowledge that as the student types, their grammar, punctuation, and spelling are being assessed? Please click on the Wri-Q heading in the upper right-hand corner of this webpage (or in the menu section on a mobile device) to learn more about this encouraging application for our students with an IEP.
