Hello Northridge Families! I am new to the Middlebury community coming from Memphis, Tennessee. I’m originally from Buffalo, NY so I’m no stranger to the snow! I have been a School Counselor at the elementary, middle, and high school levels and I absolutely love what I do. When I’m not working, I like spending quality time with my family and friends, trying new restaurants, watching football, and exploring my creativity through DIY projects. I’ve also really enjoyed exploring Middlebury and the surrounding areas with my husband and son. I’m excited for the year and extremely grateful to be working with the amazing students and families of NMS; it truly feels like home when I’m in this building!

tadeok@mcsin-k12.orgMy undergraduate degree is from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, VA and my master's degree in Education/School Counseling is from Indiana University of South Bend. I have been employed by Middlebury Community Schools for 13 years. Prior to this I was employed by Goshen Community Schools for 12 years. I have worked with high school, middle school, and elementary school students but love working with middle school students the most. My family and I live in Middlebury and my children attended Middlebury Community Schools. I enjoy watching basketball and soccer and also playing soccer. I am a Colts fan!

yoderc@mcsin-k12.orgHi NMS Families! I was born and raised in the Middlebury area and I think that's pretty cool that I work in the school that I once attended. Here at NMS I am a grade-level counselor, but I am also in charge of lots of other fun things. I went to Indiana University and am a loyal HOOSIER! I have 4 awesome kids of my own (2 sons, 1 step-son and 1 daughter) and the cutest mini Goldendoodles that you ever did see that keep me pretty busy outside of school. My favorite activities are watching my kids play sports, hanging with friends and family, going to the beach, as well as watching movies and tennis. I also enjoy meeting new people so make sure to stop and introduce yourself. I hope you love it here at NMS as much as I do!

bernthw@mcsin-k12.orgI have spent most of my life in the Middlebury area. I am a NHS graduate. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from IU. Although I have spent most of my career in sales in the financial services industry, I always wished I would have been in education. Recently, I enrolled to get my Masters degree in School Counseling. I am so very excited to finish my career helping students. I have been working as the Counseling Secretary since 2015. I have three boys, with my youngest in college. I love being a part of the NMS Counseling team.
