8th Grade Reading

What We Will Learn: Good writers and good readers have always been important, but especially in this time while we cannot always communicate with each other in person. It is essential that we are able to read both literature and informational text, write, speak, listen, and use proper grammar in order to communicate clearly - these are our 5 Common Core standards. We will pursue mastery in all of these categories at an 8th grade level.

How We Will Learn: We will utilize class novels (as available per Covid restrictions), Common Lit, Nearpod, Achieve 3000, etc. You will always check the daily agenda slide to see what we are doing and to obtain links necessary for your lesson/activities. The slide and other classroom information will be managed through Google Classroom.
