Welcome to 5th grade! I am so excited to have you in my class this year.
I love learning and teaching and hope to pass that on to my students and families. With that, I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communicative Disorders from the University of New Mexico. I have a Master's degree in Administrative Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Colorado at Denver. Currently, I am working on my Doctorate of Education in Educational Equity with a focus on Executive Leadership from the University of Colorado at Denver.
This is my 26th year in public education. I have taught preschool, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I have also been an instructional coach and principal. You name it and I can do it in an elementary school!
