• Modeling, Reading and Comparing Decimals

  • Play "I Have, You Need" (Goal 100- I have 65, You need 35 to make 100!)

  • Use the Number Pieces site to create 2.07, 3.1, 3.10, 1.15, .02, 1.21

    • Remember- There are new assignments for each number piece

      • Strip Mat = 10

      • Mat = 1

      • Strip = 1/10 or 0.1

      • Unit = 1/100 or 0.01

    • Read each number out loud as money and as a decimal.

      • 3.62 would be: three dollars and sixty-two cents/ three and sixty-two hundredths
