Class overviews

English 9

This year we will use Google Classroom to post all course materials and assignments. We will focus on reading and writing skills all semester as we read narratives and articles as well as longer novels. We will write both creatively and analyzing the texts we read.

Beginning Journalism

We will usalize online tools as well as in person strategies to collect news stories and publish them to the student body. We will learn to write headlines, leads, captions and news stoires.

Andavnced Journalism (The Chieftain)

This class will use SNO sites to publish news stories to the community

About Me:

This is my 15 year teaching and my 5th year here at my alma mater. I love living in the town where I grew up. I enjoy hiking, camping and fishing, and horseback riding.

I have two children, Devin and Cora who normally attend Pomona Elementary. We also have a cat named Nico.

I know we are all unsure what this year will bring, but I know that we all are capable of making it a great year.
