"If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language that goes to his heart." - Nelson Mandela
¡HOLA! ¡BIENVENIDOS! - WELCOME!
Thank You for visiting my profile page. My name is Lidia Bond. I'm from Tarata, Tacna, Peru. My first language is Spanish. I taught Math and Science in Peru for eleven years. I received my Colorado Teaching License in Math, Science and Spanish. I went back to grad school and I received my Master degree on Foreign Languages from the University of Northern Colorado. After teaching ELL in Delta and Olathe High Schools, this is my eigthteenth year teaching Spanish at Montrose High School. This year I am teaching Spanish 2, Spanish 3 and AP Spanish Language and Culture. Also, I am a Spanish professor at Colorado Mesa University, Montrose Campus.
My Spanish class is always fun. We explore Hispanic world culture, traditions and the language itself. In the classroom, we learn from each other. We share and celebrate our cultural similarities and differences. This makes my classroom rich with diverse learning experiences.
I am motivated to extend my talents and skills to the max!
