About Me

Welcome Tigers!  

My name is Anna-Marie Weis. I am a graduate of Neville High School with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from University of Louisiana Monroe.  I have over twenty years of art and art history teaching experience.  Prior to teaching, I was a full-time commercial photographer for ten years .  My husband Eric and I are the proud parents of two daughters, and our family has grown with the addition of sons-in-law and our first grandchild. We live in Monroe and enjoy various outdoor activities and travel.

My vision is to build the leaders of tomorrow by fostering a culture of inclusion, curiosity, and self-expression through the arts.  In my classes, we will explore cross-cultural art history and practice the elements of art and principles of design using various mediums.
