The tale begins at a remote mansion – New England, 1954 – where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. What will happen when things go out of control? Directed by Jared Throneberry, this mysterious night will have you laughing, gasping, and wondering throughout the night!
“Into the Woods” is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales in a musical format that follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel–all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family, and their interaction with the witch who has put a curse on them. Come see what happens to these fairytale creatures!! Directed by Susan Thompson and Sarah Cencer, this musical surely gave our audience a different perspective!
Noises Off (Fall 2018)
Doors, Cacti, and Sardines!! Directed by Lloyd, Nothing On is a flop show, with a crazy, wonky cast!! Watch and see this hillarius play within a play! Directed by Michelle Shrewsbury and Susan Thompson, this is a show you can't miss!!
Little Shop of Horrors (Spring 2018)
When you live on Skid Row, you expect nothing less than a Flower Shop. Owned by Mushnik, and Seymour as his employee. With a growing Audrey II, Seymour's man-eating plant, is faced with many tough decisions. Directed by Janine Hawley, and conducted by Michelle Shrewsbury, this was a highlight of the Spring.
Hollywood Hillbillies (Fall 2017)
What do you get when a couple of rich women are sent to a small town? Hollywood Hillbillies, that's what! Directed by Nathan Betz, this play left a smile on everyone's face by the end of the night!
After a tragic accident involving the pastors son, the town banished all rock-n-roll music along with dancing. Along comes Ren with his fast moves and high profile style to mix everything up. At the end of it all, one of the most hated young men in the town becomes the hero and allows everyone to heal. Directed by Janine Hawley, and conducted by Jared Throneberry, this play was a fast paced and inspiring show.
Sailing across the ocean with a sinner, a saint, and everything in-between. This fast paced musical provided the audience with love, laughter, and a "happily ever after" ending. Directed and conducted by Jared Throneberry, this musical is one of the small productions by Manchester High School that kept the community engaged and entertained.
Beauty and the Beast (Spring 2015)
We all know the classic fairytale story brought to life by the Disney company. Now Manchester Drama Club has brought this timeless tale to a small town. Directed by Emily Duncan and conducted by Jared Throneberry, Beauty and the Beast is and has remained one of Manchester Community's favorite productions.
Fiddler on the Roof (Spring 2014)
This amazing production is about a family trying to maintain Jewish traditional values in an ever changing world. The production of this musical ran back in 2014 and is one of the many productions that captivated the crowd at Manchester High School. Directed by Emily Duncan and conducted by Jared Throneberry, Fiddler on the Roof remains one of the favorite shows produced at Manchester High School.
