What are Buddy Baskets?
Buddy Baskets is a community service project lead by students in the Interdisciplinary Research Class from Grace E. Metz Middle School, located in Manassas, VA.
Our goal is to supply new mothers within our community with baskets of necessary items. We want these new mothers to know there are people that care about them and support them. We plan to hold this project through Mar 27th - May 23rd, and we will distribute the baskets to The Virginia Women and Family Support Center, in Haymarket, VA.
Our Mission Statement: Buddy Baskets aspires to help new mothers transition into motherhood by donating care-package baskets with necessities for both the baby and mom. We strive to give kindness, support, and a buddy to the mothers within our community.
