Sponsor Guidelines
1. Students in Grades 3–12 may participate. Either individual and/or group projects. No more than 30 Students and 2 Sponsors per school. If you have more than 30 students wanting to participate, we suggest having a mini tech fair at your school to narrow down the competitors you are bringing to the Regional Tech Fair.
Schools that have K-8 can bring 30 students in 3rd - 5th grades and 30 students in grades 6th - 8th. If you are a K - 12 you can bring 30 students in 3rd - 5th grades and 30 students in grades 6th - 8th and 30 students 9th - 12th grades.
2. No more than two students per group. All students in a group must participate in the creation of the project and in the project presentation.
3. CHECK THAT ALL PROJECTS WORK PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
4. Teachers are responsible for ensuring each project has a device for presentation. Bring a backup device for emergencies.
5. Bring at least one power source.
6. Teachers must submit their team registration form by November 30th.
7. Please make sure that all students bring a copy of their portfolios with them the day of the event; we will not collect digital copies this year. ALL STUDENTS SHOULD USE THIS TEMPLATE.
The release form is required by the University of South Alabama. There is a portion on the release form that states travel is the participants responsibility. For this event, parents are not allowed to attend and students should be bussed by the participating schools.
