This site is designed to support parents with fourth quarter instruction. The pandemic has displaced students from their normal educational setting. We are committed to communicating and collaborating with parents to ensure our students have a successful close to the school year. You will find a contact form for each Phillips teacher at the following web address: https://www.phillipsprep.com/onlinelearning.
The district has created a site to support parents as well. It details our MCPSS Academic Continuity Plan and provides resources for learners. To access it, click the following link: https://acp.mcpss.com/home.
We are here to support you and our students. Let's innovate and do great things! Stay safe!

Google Classroom is the platform that the majority of our teachers will use to instruct students. Your child will log in with his/her MCPSS email address.
Students will need codes to join their classes. Click the image above to access teachers' codes. You may also find them by visiting www.phillipsprep.com. On the home page, select "Academics." From the dropdown, select "Online Learning." Once you click a teacher's name, a contact form will appear. The code for each period will be displayed.
Reminder: Contact MCPSS IT Helpdesk at (251) 221-7777 for technology troubleshooting.
Students must complete iReady reading and math diagnostic tests by Thursday, May 21, 2020.
Greetings,
Today, we conclude instruction for fourth quarter. All assignments on Google Classroom and other online platforms (Microsoft Teams, Quia, and Edmodo) must be completed and submitted today, Friday, May 15th. Completed work for students with academic paper packets must be turned in to the school today, Friday, May 15th by 3:00 p.m. Parents may place the packets in the plastic bin located near the front door of the school. Registration information will be emailed and posted on the school's website early next week. Textbooks, band instruments, and computers will be collected during report card pick-up (details will be communicated late next week).
The last academic task for students is to take their iReady reading and math 3rd diagnostic assessments. Our library media specialist, Ms. Lacoste, created a brief tutorial video (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BrXYvYZmljeT6lE4b5Sdop7WYKqs7tY9/view) that illustrates how students access the diagnostics. Students are familiar with this process, as they have already completed diagnostics 1 and 2 at school. This data will be used as a baseline for the upcoming school year.
This has been an arduous time for many families. We thank you for your commitment to ensuring the continuity of learning for our students. The PPS Family is exceptional!

Schedule to Collect PE Uniforms and Drop Off Library Books
Now that the governor’s stay home order has been adjusted, students may retrieve P.E. uniforms from the gym locker rooms on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 5th-6th. Check the schedule for your designated time and date. If you have an athletic uniform from any sport, bins will be outside of the gym for you to drop them off. Please have those items in a bag with the student’s name on it. In addition, a drop-off area will be labeled for students to return library books.
Parents will drive to the side of the gym. Administrators and teachers will be there to assist. In order to practice safety protocols, students in the front of the line will be directed to enter the locker room from the back doors that face the football field. Once one student retrieves his/her items, the next student will be allowed to enter. Please be patient and remain in your vehicle until instructed to enter the locker room. Stay safe, and we will see you next week!
