Ms. Carpela-Schulman, Community School Liaison
Ms. Carpela-Schulman has been at Weller Road ES since 2010. She's taught first and third grades. She enjoys connecting with the community and bringing different partnerships to the school. Ms. Carpela-Schulman loves the families and students at Weller Road ES. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and eating at different taquerias. Ms. Farinella, Community School Focus Teacher
Ms. Farinella has spent 4 of her 11 years as an educator at Weller Road. Over the years, she has taught as a Special Education teacher across all grade levels and as a classroom teacher in grades 1, 4, and 5. She now serves in a Community Schools role, supporting literacy across the building.

Weller Road and its community hold a special place in her heart, and she feels deeply connected to the students she works with each day.

Outside of school, Ms. Farinella plays soccer in a coed recreational league, enjoys running (at what she describes as a “very slow pace”), loves reading, binge-watching TV shows, and trying new foods.
