You are invited to White Oak Middle School’s Virtual Conferences. This will be an exciting opportunity for you to meet individually with your child’s teachers. We will use Parent Vue to sign up for conferences. Each conference will be 8 minutes long.

If you need assistance signing up for conferences you may call the school

(Si necesitan ayuda con las conferencias llamen a la escuela) at 301-288-8200 between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. You can also email your student's counselor or administrator

The conferences will be informal conversations to provide parents the opportunity to discuss one or two key topics in the time allotted. Below are a few examples of what parents might talk about with teachers.

• Discuss the overall progress of your child in class

• Hear more about the subject/curriculum

• Hear about upcoming projects/assignments

• Hear how your child is participating in class

• Hear some of the ways the teacher/school can support your child if they are struggling

• Hear some ways that you can support your child at home with online learning

Please keep in mind that White Oak Middle School’s Virtual Conferences event is not a time to raise a large concern or solve a big problem with a teacher. If your child has a specific problem in a certain class, you will need to schedule a parent conference with the teacher and or grade level counselor another day.
