Summer Boosts
Summer Boosts: (For incoming 9th graders taking AP US History, AP Physics 1 or Algebra 2)
Each summer, Wheaton offers opportunities for all incoming ninth graders to get a “boost” on their AP courses. These are group sessions that are designed to give students a chance to review the skills necessary for the content like graphing, note-taking, analyzing documents, accessing online tools, math concepts and reading strategies. There will not be content taught, although you may get a jump start on your AP Summer Assignment.
There are two sessions and we ask students to select ONE to attend. They cannot attend both. Please note the following:
Transportation will be provided for the AM sessions only.
The cost of these opportunities is free to students.
Students may eat lunch at school if they are there for the entire day.
Students only sign up for ONE session.
