How to enroll your student(s) at Winston Churchill
Please review the MCPS Quick Guide to Enrollment, which outlines the information needed to enroll your student(s).
Once you have all the necessary paperwork, please call the Churchill Counseling Office (240-740-5420) to schedule an enrollment appointment.
How to request a transcript
If you are a current student:
Please visit the Registrar’s office during regular office hours.
If you graduated within the past five (5) years:
If you are an alumnus from the Class of 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024, e-mail your transcript request to Linda_S_McLaughlin@mcpsmd.org.
Make sure to include the name(s) and mailing address(es) of the school(s), organization(s), etc. for which you would like your transcript sent.
After you submit your request, visit the Winston Churchill High School Online Payment System to purchase your official transcript(s). Once the registrar receives confirmation of payment, the transcript will be sent.
If you graduated more than five (5) years ago:
If you graduated with the Class of 2019 or earlier, please request your transcript from the MCPS Central Records office by calling 240-740-5470.

How to check the status of transcripts submitted to your selected colleges
Log into your Naviance Account.
Look at your list of “Colleges I’m Applying To”.
You will see “Initial Materials Submitted” under the “Office Status” tab when your materials have been submitted.
Please remember that the Counselors and Registrar have 20 school days from the date of the initial request to send the materials to the requested colleges, but it typically will not take that long.
How to check your GPA/WGPA
Log into your Naviance account. Information is updated nightly.
How to obtain proof of attendance for your learner's permit
Download, print, and complete Section A of the DL-300 form.
Bring the form to the Registrar’s office during office hours to complete.
Note: If you do not have access to a printer, copies of the form are available in the Registrar’s office.
How to get a letter from the school verifying a student's attendance
Parents may submit the request for verification of attendance by emailing Linda_S_McLaughlin@mcpsmd.org (preferred) or calling 240-740-5414.
Students may submit the request during normal office hours.
If an organization is requesting verification and they desire that specific information be included, please make sure to include those details with your request.
Please allow us one full workday to process all requests.

Download, print, and complete all the sections you can fill out.
Bring the form to the Registrar’s office during office hours to complete.
