Leighty’s Little Library was established to honor Jan Leighty, former Washington Grove Reading Specialist, who lost her battle to cancer in 2015. This dedicated section of books in the media center at Washington Grove ES will allow children to pursue the love of reading, by choosing to read interesting books solely for enjoyment Jan believed that reading for enjoyment is what naturally sparks a true and long lasting love of reading.
