Welcome! The College & Career Center holds a wealth of information and resources for students as they ponder "life after high school." Parents and students can reach out or make an appointment with Mr. Nalda in the College & Career Center for assistance with college, career, or scholarship searches. The College & Career Center also has many resources and information regarding financial aid. This is especially important for eleventh and twelfth graders.
During the school year, the College & Career Center is open 7:00am - 3:00pm. Students can come in before school, after school, or during lunch. At any other time during the day, students may come down with a pass as long as a scheduled activity is not taking place. Parents & Guardians are also welcome to schedule an appointment via email. Zoom meetings are also available.

Learn about her career in Restaurant Management. She was an Operations Director where she created marketing plans, managed controllable costs and handled marketing initiatives.

Montgomery College will be hosting their annual virtual Need Money event happening all through February on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon, starting February 10. They will be assisting students with their 2026-2027 FAFSA or MHEC ONE-APP, help with submitting their documents if they are available at that time, applying for state aid by creating an MDCAPS account, and scholarship assistance.
These are half hour virtual sessions to get one-on-one assistance with financial aid staff on Zoom.

Join us for our Paying for College Series, a set of virtual sessions designed to help students, families, and counselors understand the financial side of college and career training. We'll cover everything from financial aid and scholarships to billing and staying enrolled.
All sessions begin at 6 p.m. on Zoom.
Wednesday, March 11 - You've Applied for Aid, Now What? Understand what happens after you submit your FAFSA or MD One App.
Monday, May 4 - Understanding My Costs & Bill. Learn how to read your college bill and what your financial aid covers.
Wednesday, June 10 - Avoid Course Deletion for Nonpayment. Get practical advice on managing payment deadlines and staying enrolled.

This virtual session will be led by Tab Uhrich, Associate Dean, College of Health Professions at Towson University. Ms. Uhrich taught 12 years in K-12, is a tenured professor in TU’s Department of Kinesiology, former Director of Assessment at TU, and a current Associate Dean.
Ms. Uhrich will provide an overview of Towson University's academic programs in the College of Health Professions, including undergraduate and graduate levels, followed by a Q&A. She will discuss key information such as which undergraduate majors have a separate admissions process and which majors are good choices as pathways into our graduate programs. Lastly, she will include information about their Institute for Well-Being and student services.
