Montgomery County Public Libraries

• Summer Read and Learn Program. MCPL's Summer Read and Learn program offers kids and teens a chance to fill their summer with great books and fun activities. Read books, do fun learning activities, and attend virtual events all summer long. You'll earn badges and prizes and enjoy fun raffles! 

Read Across America:

• This website has a lot of great resources from the WHY to the HOW for summer reading.

The OWL (Online Writing Lab) 

• Purdue University has numerous resources for grammar and mechanics review.  

• The worksheets can be printed. 

Houghton-Mifflin

• Various writing/grammar reviews at the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade levels. 

National Geographic Kids: 

• Great nature videos, activities, games, stories, and more

iCivics:
