My name is Jordan Bolinger, and I am super excited to be joining the Stonegate Elementary School team as the new school counselor!
I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from Howard University in Washington D.C. I received my masters degree in school counseling from Johns Hopkins University. I had my practicum and internship experiences all in Montgomery County and I am looking forward to my first year as an MCPS School Counselor!
Some of my hobbies are playing tennis, swimming, electric scootering, and road trips with friends and family.
My philosophy is to view all people - children and adults - holistically. Everyone has a story that deserves to be heard. These stories can be learned through authentic relationships. I look forward to building relationships with students, staff, and families throughout the school year.
My favorite thing to do is travel with friends and family
My first job was working as a summer camp counselor
My favorite candy is tootsie rolls
My favorite animal is a dog (Bichon Frise)
