KEEN (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now) Greater DC is a nonprofit that empowers youth with disabilities through free, one-to-one physical activity programs. We pair volunteer coaches—typically students and young adults—with our KEEN athletes to engage in fun, non-competitive recreational activities. Our sessions are designed to foster connection, inclusion, and confidence in a supportive environment.
Volunteering with KEEN is a great way for students to earn SSL hours while developing empathy, leadership skills, and a stronger sense of community engagement. We offer regular weekend sessions and provide all necessary training—no prior experience is required.
You can learn more about our work and volunteer opportunities at our website: KEEN Greater DC |
