Springbrook Summer School 2022

There are many options for students this summer at Springbrook High School. Please review the page and determine which option is best for you!

Please review the following options and descriptions before filling out the Sign Up form.

Option 1

Credit Recovery will be offered to rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders who did not pass the course during the school year. The following courses will be offered as credit recovery:
Algebra Honors GeometryHonors English 9Honors English 10Honors English 11Honors NSL GovernmentHonors Modern WorldHonors United States HistoryChemistryBiology
Honors Health and Foundations of Technology will also be offered as ORIGINAL CREDIT to all rising 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders


Option 2

Students who want to take a non-credit bearing summer course that offers enrichment to the student's studies may take one of the following enrichment courses being offered:

Option 3

Summer School Calendar

Summer School Calender 2022

Transportation and Lunch

Transportation will be provided for all students if necessary. Students and Guardian can find their bus routes on the MCPS website located here

All students will also be provided breakfast and lunch during in person learning.

Enrichment Courses

Jumpstart - Incoming 9th Grade Students

Learn more about Springbrook High School, an IB World School and all that it has to offer. Learn about the school while building community. Meet new friends that will also be a part of the Class of 2026!

IB Regional Enrichment 9th and 10th Grade

Meet the other students, and some teachers, who will be a part of the IB regional program next year. Incoming 9th graders will take part in community building and meeting the fellow students in the cohort. 10th Graders will begin their personal project and also learn the skills that will help them succeed!

IB Enrichment 11th Grade

Students will work on writing and other skills necessary to be successful in the IB Program. Students will work with our amazing Springbrook staff to help guide them on the start of their IB diploma journey.
