In observance of Hispanic Heritage Month, you will select 2 of the following persons (or other teacher-approved Hispanic-Americans) to investigate and write about. You will investigate their early lives (including their birth place) and education, occupation, major contribution(s) or accomplishment, and any awards or honors. Each person is worth 10 points, for a total of 20 points for the assignment.

The final presentation must:

• include major details about their contributions (what did they do?) and awards/honors;

• be completed in Google Slides;

• be written in complete sentences. Spelling and grammar count as part of the grade -- please review your final project before submitting;

• include title slide with your full name and class period; and

• include a "Works Cited" slide to list your references.

Please take notes on your own paper or on a Google document. You will have 3 days of class time to research. Students will finalize their projects on Day 4, and they will share/present their projects on Day 5.
