MCPS will remain in a virtual-only instructional model through the first semester—January 29, 2021; or until state and local health officials determine conditions in our county allow for students to return safely after the first semester. The draft recovery guide provides an overview of our initial considerations for the first and second semester. Please note: this is a draft guide and the plan will be revised as we adjust to our new learning environment. The Board of Education will vote to approve a final plan on Tuesday, August 25. The first day of school is Monday, August 31.
