Welcome everyone!

We are happy to reconnect and are glad that you are here. We know this is a difficult time for everyone. If we have patience, understanding and empathy for each other as a school community, we will emerge as a stronger community than before!

As you go through this online learning, please keep in mind that our teachers are also learning as they go along. We love your children and we will always do our very best to give them what they need.

Ms. Sanchez and I are here for support. Please email us and we will arrange a time to connect. In the meantime, please take care of yourself and your family. As hard as this is right now, it is temporary and there will be brighter days ahead.

Helpful Tips

  • It is important to limit news exposure. It can be hard for young children to comprehend what is happening. Read a book, play a game, listen to music.

  • If your children have direct questions about Coronavirus, it is important to answer in concise , direct answers that are age appropriate- without adding additional information that may not be necessary.

  • Your child may be acting different than before- irritable, tired, prone to anger... This is a normal stress reaction to what is going on in the world. Try to build in some Mindful Moments or incorporate deep breathing exercises in the morning, mid day and afternoon. We will post upcoming Mindfulness activities you can use to help with their stress-and yours!
