RPMS SUmmer Reading

Reading is a lifelong skill that is needed in order to succeed as a student, worker, and citizen.  Perhaps even more importantly, reading allows access to learn about other people, cultures, times, regions, and ideas. Summer reading is one way to help students develop and strengthen their literacy skills, broaden their interests, and extend their background knowledge.

 At Rosa Parks Middle School, we want students to see how reading can be fun and valuable in understanding the world around us.

Summer Reading is required for all grade levels. The assignments will be collected during the first week of school and students will receive credit for completing them.
