Auditions for the RHMS Spring Musical, "Frozen Jr." will take place in DECEMBER 2025. Crew forms will also be available at the beginning of February.
Trying out for the musical does not guarantee a part in the cast. (That is why we held the fall showcase. The showcase was an opportunity for any/all students to showcase their talent, and was more of a "Drama Club.") Casting with be based on tryout scores, as well as current grades in classes. Students who have grades below a C are not eligible to participate in the musical. The stage crew list will be based on prior experience with our plays, the order in which the forms are turned in, AND teacher feedback. Due to the large numbers of students that want to be on stage crew, some years we cannot take all of the kids that turn in a form for stage crew. This stage crew list will be posted along with the cast list.
You will not be considered for a lead if you have any conflicts that occur during the last two weeks of rehearsals. Any conflicts that occur during tech weeks may result in understudies being cast as the role. Students who miss a rehearsal when a dance is being taught will not be included in that scene. With the limited number of rehearsals, we cannot make up lost time.

Tuesday, January 20: Rehearsals begin FOR CAST ONLY!
Wednesday, March 4: All crews begin meeting also.

Wednesdays = Vocals/Singing, 3:10PM to 4:20PM
Thursdays = Acting, 3:10PM to 4:20PM

Audition consists of:
SIGN UP for an audition timeslot using the audition google form
Submission of the parent emergency contact/permission slip (paper)
Teacher progress form (paper)
Audition form (on paper)
Monologue and acapella song (in-person, at your scheduled time)
Group dance (in-person on the day of your audition at 3:40 or 4:10PM)
