MCPS and Quince Orchard High School are excited to announce that registration for Spring Sports will open on Monday, January 26th at 12pm! Below is information regarding the upcoming Spring Sports season, as well as the registration process. Additional information can be found on the MCPS Athletics website. (Note – tryouts for Spring Sports will start on Saturday, February 28th)
How to Register - Details on the Registration Page
Students must be registered by a parent through the MCPS ParentVue Portal. Students must be registered by Thursday, February 26th in order to guarantee that their registration will be processed in time for the first day of tryouts.

Athletes of the Month
Congratulations to Senior Boys Soccer player Kyle Silverman on being name to QO Athletics Playa Bowls October Male Student-Athlete of the Month.
As the captain of the boys' soccer team, he consistently sets the tone for hard work and commitment, both during the games and in practice.His leadership has been a steady presence, and his performance speaks for itself during the game changing moments with 5 goals and providing 4 assists this season.
Kyle had a 3.43 GPA in the 1st Marking Period!
Congratulations to Senior Field Hockey player Sophia Fenzel on being name the QO Athletics Playa Bowls October Female Student-Athlete of the Month.
Sophia is the definition of a Student Athlete and works hard day in and day out. She portrays an incredible amount of care in everything she does and shows nothing but kindness and sportsmanship on and off the field. She led the team to the Region Championship this year and was the leading goal scorer.
Sophia had a 4.0 GPA in the 1st Marking Period!
Congratulations to Senior Volleyball player Eden Tardy on being named the QO Athletics Playa Bowls October Female Student-Athlete of the Month.
Eden finished the season with 170 kills. .25 hitting efficiency. She totaled 23 aces and served 90%. She earned the Magruder tournament MVP and led the team to a 12-2 in the regular season record.
Eden had a 4.0 GPA in the 1st Marking Period!
