The Academy of Fine Arts at NWHS offers well rounded art and music programs that serve as excellent preparation for either a career for college level education in art or music. Our vision is for each student to have opportunity to express himself or herself with passion and creativity in art and music at the highest standard of craftsmanship. Members of the Academy of Fine Arts are required to join either Tri-M or the National Art Honors Society.

The Academy of Fine Arts is for students who are planning on taking art or music every year. Students should plan on taking art or music for 3 to 4 years and end with an AP course.
